Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota declared the Rajasthan PTET 2026 result on June 25 at 11:30 AM. Around 1.26 lakh candidates had registered for the exam, while nearly 1.08 lakh appeared for the test held on June 14. For thousands of aspiring teachers, the result marks a crucial step towards securing admission to B.Ed colleges across Rajasthan. The scorecard will decide candidates’ ranks and counselling opportunities, making it far more than just an exam result. The race for seats now begins.
What You Need to Check Your Result?
Candidates need the following to log in and download their scorecard:
- Roll Number or Application Number
- Date of Birth

Steps to download Rajasthan PTET Result 2026:
- Visit the official website.
- Click on the “Result” link on the homepage.
- Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on Submit.
- Your result will appear on the screen.
- Download the scorecard PDF.
- Save and print it for future use.
Candidates can download their Rajasthan PTET 2026 scorecard online using their login details. But, if they do not have their roll no, they can access the result by entering their name, mother’s name, and date of birth as an alternative option. Students are advised to save a copy of the scorecard, as it will not be sent by post or courier. But getting the result is only the first step. The score on the scorecard will now decide their chances in the counselling process and college admissions.
How Many Marks Do You Actually Need?

The PTET 2026 exam carries 200 questions for a total of 600 marks, conducted in offline pen-and-paper mode for 3 hours. The minimum qualifying marks by category are:
- General category — 300 out of 600 (50%)
- OBC / EWS — 270 out of 600 (45%)
- SC / ST / PwD — 240 out of 600 (40%)
There is no sectional cutoff — only total marks matter.
