Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from any recognized University in India. For some specific posts, additional qualifications are prescribed.
- Most posts need only a graduate degree
- Sub Registrar posts need a Law Doctorate
- Statistical Officer posts need a PG degree in relevant subjects

OBC: Relaxation of 3 years
SC/ST: Relaxation of 5 years
Important Note: Age relaxation benefits for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen are available only to permanent UP domicile holders. Candidates from other states are not eligible.

The UPPSC PCS 2026 application fee must be paid online through the SBI MOPS payment gateway. The fee is non-refundable.
